Teachers Developing Teachers

"We introduced Professional Walk-through in 2016, involving lead teachers and senior teachers (teacher-leaders) visiting the classrooms of other teachers, to provide just-in-time feedback on teaching practices, This allows teachers to de-privatise and open their classrooms so as to learn together as a community and in so doing, raised greater awareness towards how the students learn and improve on the craft of teaching and learning.

Currently, we are adapting this version to allow our department heads and teacher-leaders to open their classrooms for other teachers to visit their lessons. We hope to engender a culture of learning whereby all teachers will visit one another freely, to learn through observing one another, and to reflect on active student learning."- Mdm Flora Ong, Principal
